Dense snow in the northeast America has seen record snow fall in the commercialised capital New York, close educates and making travelling chaos for billions.
The New York Education Department said in a instruction in the early hrs of Fri Feb 26th 2010 that totally public schools in Manhattan, Staten Island, Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx would be close due the badly weather condition.
“Due to snow weathers, totally New York public schools will be inactive now,in Friday February 26, 2010. All after-school activities and PSAL events will as well be called off. Administrative offices will continue open,†an alerting on the NYC Education internet site said.
Meanwhile, record snow was recorded in New York overnight as well as near blizzard conditions being experienced.
Commuters were warned to expect holds in the early morning hours.
