Gearing Up for Apple iPad Mini?: DNews Nugget

Dnews-nuggets-278x225 Apple iPad Mini Production Gearing Up?: A facility in China where many Apple products are built seems to be gearing up to hike production, possibly of Apple’s new iPad Mini, reports CNET.

Summer positions were available at FoxConn in Chengdu, reported a Chinese tech site, and thousands were lined up to apply. They only needed good eyesight to qualify.

CNET cites reports that say the newest iPad — with a smaller, 7.85-inch screen, is supposed to hit the shelves by year’s end. The iPad Mini will supposedly be priced to compete with other mini-tablets, around $200. via CNET
